Tuesday Tales and Stolen Kisses!

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week our group writes to the simple sounding word- stolen .    This will be an excerpt f ro m Snow Spankings, a new WIP for a new erotic contemporary. “Stolen kisses are the best.” Lazily, Tabitha stretched her arms above her head, cradling Alec’s head between her reach. “You looked so beautiful, I couldn’t resist.” “I didn’t mean to fall asleep, I guess I needed a nap.” “I kept you up late last night, it’s my fault.” “What happens when we return to reality? I mean we both have jobs and lives outside of each other. Everything happened so fast between us, how do we merge our days?” An important fact remained that neither of them figured a new love connection in their responsibilities. Everything was dreamy behind closed doors on a day off work or other demands. The daily grind chipped away at fun or impulsiveness, leaving few hours or even minutes to spare. “How do we keep this energy alive?” “I’m not sure we hav...

Tuesday Tales, Paint Me a Picture

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week our group writes to the simple sounding word- paint .    This will be an excerpt f ro m Snow Spankings, a new WIP for a new erotic contemporary. “You’d look incredible in body paint.” Eve modeled the garter belt and thigh high hose combination for Noel’s approval. A few glasses of wine gave her the confidence to actually cut the tags off the lingerie she’d carefully purchased several days before.   “I’ve never thought about it.” “In Key West, Florida, the city hosts this unbelievable festival each year. In my entire life, I’ve never seen so many women wearing nothing but body paint. Aside from the naked bodies, I must say, the artwork was fantastic.” “I’m sure you were only thinking about artwork.” Men always had sex on the brain. “Sometimes, the detail was so amazing I couldn’t help but think about the artist and the time taken for such a masterpiece.” Growing bolder, Eve prowled over to Noel on the couch. “...

Tuesday Tales are Evil...Really?

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week our group writes to the simple sounding word- evil.    This will be the last installment f ro m Heart Nectar, a new WIP for a new series please see my interpretation. ! “I'd never do anything evil to you.” Rubbing his hands together, George kept looking at Mindie, his eyes pleading, asking for chances to be her everything. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Stupid question, her reaction, this situation, everything told her why. How could she ignore the sincerity of his love coming through each motion of body language? “Well, I mean, I know why you didn’t tell me, but, I’m still not sure how to take it.” “I only wanted an honest beginning, nothing complicated, no strings, no reason for you to doubt my feelings for you have nothing to do with business. I’m asking you to trust me, no matter how difficult it may be.” Staring at a spot on the floor, she refused to look into his eyes. All resolve disappeared when she gazed into h...

I used to exercise and participate in triathlons, but, about 3 years ago I began getting sick. The doctors knew I had auto-immune diseases, but, it took a very long time and so many doctors to determine I have rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogrens Syndrome. Now, I do yoga at least twice a week and am adapting my life. I’m not ready to let diseases dictate my life, it’s about getting ba...

Tuesday Tales are Getting Ruthless

Image
Happy January Tuesday Tales... Today, I return to my current WIP, Personal Fouls, Book 3 for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week our group writes to the rather rebellious word, ruthless . Read a little tidbit about Rudy... Before I could legally sit in the front seat of a car, I played football. Some kids played video games, soccer, went fishing, or watched cartoons, I was practicing. Every Sunday, I watched football all afternoon with my pops. He taught me about downs, off sides, running plays, penalties, and everything else I needed to know to make me invincible. I spent hours throwing a football through a tire swing in the yard. I needed accuracy with the perfect spiral meant to leave the defense in the dust. Pops got me into little league football, giving me the chance to show my skills to the bigger kids. The difference between me and all the other boys, I breathed this game twenty-four seven, and it showed. By no surprise, I broke every school record for...

Image
Happy Fall Tuesday Tales... Today, I return to my current WIP, a Game of Inches, for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt stark. I just can't tell you who's talking! Amazon Link     Smashwords Link "She is a stark reminder of what my life could have been. Sharlyn can't die, she's barely had a chance to live.” She paused, her body stiffened and she looked down. "Maybe she might even want a chance to get to know me." "I'm sorry Sharlyn is going through this. I never thought about wanting children. I've always been too busy. Sometimes I think an extension of me would be more of a curse than a blessing I'd put on a child." "You'd be a wonderful mother, with your gifts, adventurous nature, and huge heart. I've witnessed it. Your dogged ...

Tuesday Tales - Ending up a Kidnapper Short

Image
Happy Hot Tuesday and welcome to The Locker. We are changing it up. FINALLY Book one is with The Editor! TaDa! Boom! Today, I move to book two of my current WIP, A Game of Inches, for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt "short". Poor Lola, she can't "catch" a break any better than I could catch a touchdown pass from Peyton Manning. shameless pun. “Yes, Danika, I had a colorful childhood.” “Colorful? That’s just stupid, Lola. You were sexually abused, physically abused, and emotionally abused. You have too much abuse in your past to ignore, hoping it dies an agonizing death. It's your inner voice, crying for help.” “No, that would have been the sound of my youth meeting the reaper.” “Still want to make jokes? I don’t see how.” She really had the brain of someone warped into a cult. Looking back now, I realize my parents exposed me to trashed up stuff. However, the more I hear from Lola, the more I feel I wa...

Pretty Little Perverts...or Normal? Tuesday Tales

Image
Happy Hot Tuesday and welcome to The Locker. Today, I again return to my current WIP, re-titled Split the Uprights for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt "pretty". I keep thinking I won't have another edition for Tuesday Tales from this book, but, I keep writing more. :) Danika and Finn still haven't made that connection...will they ever?  Neither of us belonged here and we knew it. However, had we not made the stupid decision, the normally wrong decision to join this ridiculous club, we wouldn’t be sitting here sharing cheese dip and draft beer. Love finds a way. Love splits the uprights and scores the critical points. Love is the champion, the reason for the game. Love is way fucking bigger than the Lombardi Trophy and a thousand times as valuable. We might be the only two in this whole room to know the secret. I wanted to sit here forever. I had a feeling she had the same idea. “Finn?” My mouth momentarily wouldn’t wor...

Tuesday Tales...Did You Say Short and Curlies?

Image
Happy Hot Tuesday and welcome to The Locker. Today, I again return to my current WIP, re-titled Split the Uprights for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt "curly". I gotta admit, when I saw this prompt, it immediately made me think of grabbing someone by the short and curlies...bahahaha... Isn't that sort of a conflicting term? If I didn't like someone very much, I definitely don't wanna be touching their private coiffe. Anyway, in the midst of the joking, I present to you my contribution to Curly!   It's exciting because I'm so close to the end of writing this first book. Which means, it will retire from soon from Tuesday Tales. I may get one or two more out of it. :) I'll just have to wait and see.   So, my life was going to shit faster than popsicles melt in Atlanta. I was blacking out again, but, that was my own fucking fault. I ran the ashamed asylum, right here in my own home…bar, the two places were one i...

TUESDAY TALES? YEP, We are BACK! waving "ribbons"

Happy Hot Tuesday and WE ARE BACK for Tuesday Tales? Today, I return to my current WIP, re-titled Split the Uprights for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt "ribbon".   It's exciting because I'm so close to the end of writing this first book. Which means, it will retire from soon from Tuesday Tales. I may get one or two more out of it. :) I'll just have to wait and see.   Danika was there that day when my uncle took me back to that house one last time. I was supposed to stay in his truck. I don’t even know why I was with him. The look in her eyes, it wasn’t pity, it was empathy. But, my immature mind couldn’t tell the difference. I thought she was afraid of me and I didn’t want to hear her insults. I heard them enough at school. But, how could his beautiful creature want to hurt anyone? I still wouldn’t take the chance. When she opened her mouth to speak, I ran back to my uncle’s truck. He told me to stay inside anyway and...

"Right" or Wrong...We'll Always Have Brownies

Image
Happy Hot Tuesday and another edition of Tuesday Tales. Today, I return to my current WIP, Multiple Scorgasms for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt "right". This book is currently with a set of beta readers, I'm excited for their feedback. But, for now, let's return to Lola and her co-worker, Eugene. “Eugene, can you take over for me tomorrow?” “Lola, you are not going to wimp out now. You aren’t bleeding or in the hospital. Put on your big girl panties.” Eugene wasn’t going to let me descend into the cave. Somehow, I think he sensed danger in letting me wallow. Fucker. “You’re an asshole.” “Yeah, maybe so, but, you don’t pay me enough to take your place on a Sunday, so get over it.” “I hate you sometimes, Eugene.” My stomach burned and my eyes narrowed. “I’m not paying you anymore money!” “This I know.” “You are impossibly immature. I don’t know what your problem is, but, PMS never lasts this long with ...

Great New Review from Ind'Tale!

Image
Ahoy! I have another review to share. This time from Ind'Tale courtesy of Goodreads. I'm tickled to death for the latest review of my most recent release! here's a snippet: "The main characters are realistic and draw the reader into their struggle to explore their feelings and build a relationship. With elements of love, friendship, erotic sex scenes, humor, romance, and a hint of suspense, this titillating tale fires up the senses to deliver an entertaining read."  SEXY BEA SPELLING- Andrew pulled her close and leaned down to find her mouth with his own. He kissed her softly, yet thoroughly. “I will always reach your lips.” Bea needed sex and intimate human contact. She normally lived in overdrive every day, never heeding her deep feminine desires. But on vacation in the tropics, she fulfilled her hopes to escape her daunting lifestyle for a few days of wickedness. Fascinatingly, Andrew was there waiting to seduce her and surprised her with Tessa, a mé...

Life By the Sea...Ahhhh...Tuesday Tales

Image
Happy Hot Tuesday and another edition of Tuesday Tales. Today, I return to my current WIP, Multiple Scorgasms for my Fantasy Leagues series. Sensitive Finn examines his feelings for Danika....read as we all write to the word prompt, "sea". I had only talked with Danika twice in my life, but, both times she struck something so familiar in me, it made me want more. My words came naturally and I didn’t need to seek out something to say. During the times we chatted, we never once resorted to simple time fillers such as talking about the weather or what other dating sites we had tried. We went beyond a simple answer and found common ground to expand upon the usual speed dating fodder. I wasn’t sure when I would go on a date with Danika. I’d already decided that even if we never matched up in the weekly poll, we were going out before the end of the season. I couldn’t wait thirteen weeks to have a meaningful period of time with her. I tried to squash my feelings of ina...
