Saturday Sippers in The Locker

Saturday Sippers in The Locker Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! Welcome to the feature here in The Locker called Saturday Sippers. Each week I’ll post a new, sometimes, skinny cocktail recipe for you to try. Many thinks to my Cali Bestie, Rhonda, for providing me with the deck of cards recipe book. J Headed to Galveston Texas next weekend, but, plan to sit by our pool this weekend in preparation. In honor of our upcoming getaway, let’s try this tropical breezy concoction, combining two of my faves- blueberries and lemons. TROPICAL BLUEBERRY LEMON BREEZE! Ingredients 10 Blueberries ¾ ounce light agave nectar 1 ½ ounces gin ¾ ounce lemon juice 1 ounce champagne Blueberries for garnish In a shaker, muddle blueberries and agave. Add gin and lemon juice. Tuesday Tales and Creepy Spiders

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! Happy Tuesday and time for another edition of Tuesday Tales. This week I take you  to my new young adult paranormal SEQUEL WIP,  Blue Ink- Jerky.   Joelle and CSI McKinney enjoy a day on the ice rink, until a spider gets in the way. “Wylder, I haven’t been ice skating in years. What a wonderful idea!” Joelle tightened the laces one last time on her rental skates. “Now, I hope I don’t fall and bust my fanny.” “You’ll do great, Jo. Hold onto the side rails and take your time. You’ll be slicing across the ice like a pro before you know it.” Joelle stood on the thin blades, her ankles wobbling with every step across the red carpeted area toward the ice rink. “I think I need to do more yoga, my ankles are so weak. That’s what my office job has done to me all these years.” “We can do that too.” Wylder squeezed her hand lovingly, tightening his grip to steady her. “You would go to yoga with me, CSI McKinney?” ...

Is It His Finger or Not? Tuesday Tales return to Blue Ink

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! Happy Tuesday and time for another edition of Tuesday Tales. This week I take you back to my current paranormal WIP, Blue Ink-The Skin Stalker. For our journey to the unknown, I present the word prompt "finger". “They arrived at the police station before Colin drew any conclusions of his own.   Colin followed the officers inside and they seated him at a table in a small windowless room. The Skin Stalker watched everything unfold with a glint in his wicked catlike eye.   He knew the bag had no finger prints because he had none to leave.   Before he left the bag, he briefly thought of lifting one of Colin’s prints to place on it just to screw with him.   However, it was just as much fun to mess with the authorities as they feebly bumbled around trying to catch the “bad guy.”   Chaos kept The Skin Stalker churning with amusement. Colin remained in that room for two hours before anyone got back to speak with him. ...

Demise on Top of a Mountain...Blue Ink-Tuesday Tales

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! Happy Tuesday and time for another edition of Tuesday Tales. This week I return to my current demonic, paranormal thriller, Blue Ink: The Skin Stalker for our journey to the top...I present-  " mountain ". "The Skin Stalker reached his destination, Echo Mountain .   He willed his evil connection to the underworld to transport him and his sacrifice, Hannah, to the top.   He held her loosely in his arms, as if her virtue burned his vile leathery skin.   Her head hung gracelessly backward toward the ground. The wind rushed through her long hair, blowing it around her face and across her delicate features- now relaxed in the throes of death.   The end of mortal Hannah happened on the top of Echo Mountain. The Skin Stalker roared viciously as Hannah took a final breath and released it noiselessly.   Yet, in death, she smiled, confusing the demon monster known as Skin Stalker.   Her body no longer a heavy weight, i...

Am I Blue? If So, I've Lost Oxygen-Tuesday Tales

Image
Hello Fellow Fathomers! Today's Tuesday Tale involves the word or theme, " blue ". I chose to continue with my usual installments from my current thriller work in progress (WIP) Blue Ink- The Skin Stalker. "As the girls devised their plans for the rest of the day, it took Joelle away from the macabre research she had been doing.   She decided not to say anything to Suzette until she actually made it to Joelle’s house.   Suzette would be over in an hour or so and they would relax, gossip, and order in food.   They never really needed big plans; they just enjoyed catching up these days.   No doubt, Suzette would offer many opinions as to what was on Joelle’s mind lately.   Joelle took a shower and allowed the hot water to relax her tense and aching muscles.   She wanted to clear her mind so when she and Suzette discussed the recent events, she would be articulate and controlled.   Joelle could still not figure out why Colorado had be...
