cONTEST ENDED... Welcome to The Locker!!!! I'm excited this month to be part of BookRhythm's March FLASH Frenzy.  To enter all you need to do is comment below with your favorite character from one of my books. Haven't read any of my books? I LOVE to meet new readers.  Check my page on Goodreads, get a little excerpt of any or all of your choosing! What do you do in your spare time?- I collect cookbooks, I love to cook and can foods, keep the birdfeeders full, try to keep my Netflix addiction under control, think about new tattoos, and keep up with my crazy family. I used to exercise and participate in triathlons, but, about 3 years ago I began getting sick. The doctors knew I had auto-immune diseases, but, it took a very long time and so many doctors to determine I have rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogrens Syndrome. Now, I do yoga at least twice a week and am adapting my life. I’m not ready to let diseases dictate my life, it’s about getting ba...

Please see the excerpt of this latest M/M release, Follow My Lead: Blurb: Hell hath no fury like a boyfriend scorned as sitcom star and comedian, CJ Edwards, finds out when his ex releases a sex tape he hadn't even known was being filmed. Lucien Moreau has been a dance professional on  Dancing with Stars in Your Eyes  for three years, and he loves it. Title: Furious Temptation Genre: Paranormal Erotic Romance Blurb:   For millennia Megaera, a Fury, has functioned as Hades right hand by passing judgment on demons who break the sacred laws. Book Review of Jasinda Wilder's - After Forever...Book Two in the Ever Trilogy

Image
After Forever *****Snowflakes by Jasinda Wilder – Book Two in the Ever Trilogy Jasinda Wilder captured the essence of an ultimate quid pro quo...she even used that term in the book at one point. There were times it was hard to understand how Cade and Eden could commit such a betrayal. I began to imagine Cade looking at Eden and seeing Ever. I think he gave in to the physical pain and heartache and imagined it was his Ever. I know Ever and Eden are twin sisters, but, their connection is not as tight as some siblings, especially twins, can be. The underlying jealousy and misunderstanding each of them have for the other is evident and described so subtly. But, I knew it remained a deep part of the chasm between the sisters. I think Eden was horribly selfish in taking what she wanted without any conscience, it’s how she treated everyone. She justified her behavior by blaming her absent father and the death of her mother, but, as human beings we all know right...

Love and Lists by Tara Sivec - Book Review

Image
Book Review ****snowflakes Love and Lists by Tara Sivec – Chocoholics Series This novel is the first I’ve read by Tara. After reading the rave reviews for her books, especially the Chocolate Lovers series, I had to check this new series out. Tara’s snappy writing style did not disappoint me. If anything, I had a hard time keeping up with the vigor of all the characters. It felt like when I watched the Terminator and I was Sarah Connor- always on the run. Not the horror part, mind you, but, the high impact energy level.  Tara did a very good job keeping the reader engaged in the story. Sometimes I got confused because the reading pace was very quick. I found myself reading faster to keep up with the one-liner dialogue, as if I was hearing their conversations/arguments/sarcasm in my head. It did encourage imagery of a boisterous family. So, by the end, I decided I liked the pace. (But, I have to wonder how many people- friends, families, etc, share this type of dia...

Tuesday Tales and Fresh Meat

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! Welcome to Tuesday Tales. I introduce you to a new WIP I have going under my sweet pseudonym Allee Mae. It's the 3rd in my YA paranormal romance series the Critter Getters. This book is entitled  Finding Love in a Black Lagoon.  In honor of hungry tummies everywhere,  our word prompt today is "meat". (Or, maybe we're talking quality top choice sexiness.) Without further ado...please see my snippet with "meat" as the prompt word. “I’m sorry, Pearl, I’m not trying to ruin our picnic. I’m asking questions, that’s all. I’m trying to understand you.” Owen reached up and lightly gripped her hand. Pearl shook him off and walked toward a tree stump, then quickly sat down on it. “I don’t care if you believe me or not. I didn’t ask for any of this and I’d much rather be alone than try to continually explain myself.” Pearl sighed and picked at the strings from her cutoff shorts.  “Owen, there are times in my life when I feel ashamed...
