Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, this Friday I return to my first recurring blog contribution, the Friday Flash Fiction. A group of writers will write exactly 100 words, no more no less, to a picture prompt. After you read my contribution, please read what the other writers have to say, the links follow. Happy Friday! The leather is supple against my skin and I’m not sure what’s happening next, but, it doesn’t matter. My mind is whirling with a thousand naughty images, each one just as delicious as the other. I’m waiting impatiently for her to remove the gloves and rake her sharpened nails against my tingling skin, hoping desperately her tongue follows. My erect nipples, hard as pegs, will be knobs in her warm mouth.  Yet it’s still just a fantasy in my excited mind. Thankfully now, as I wait for her to rise, her tongue is sliding across my slickened femininity. Welcome 2014. Fibromyalgia is Very Real and I’m Living Proof

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, I’ve decided to use my blog not only to writing, music, and other facets of entertainment, but, also to share my journey. My rheumatologist intially diagnosed me with SLE in June 2013, however, this may have been a misdiagnosis. So, the search for the truth continues, but, I may be close now. :)  Thank you for listening, each week I will have a new installment chronicling my journey. Please, please feel free to comment, write, share. I hope to use this forum as a help to all of us, no matter what pain you are experiencing. You may also send stories to me via finlessbook at gmail dot com. I will respect your privacy and maintain your anonymity, if you so desire. Hugs for today … Day Seven of Lyrica So, my neurologist considered the notion that my auto-immune reactions could be fibromyalgia. I can deal with that, but, first I need to admit a shameful notion: I used to believe fibromyalgia was a made-up disease. For that, I apologize for everyone who suffer

Tuesday Tales with Bells On!!

Finding Love and Bigfoot Book 2 of the Critter Getters Ahoy Fellow Fathomers and welcome to Tuesday Tales. This week our talented group of writers has the word prompt "bells", apropos for the Christmas season, wouldn't you say? I take you now to the 3rd book in writing progress from Allee Mae's new series, The Critter Getters. The title of this one is, Finding Love in a Black Lagoon. Let's peek in on Owen and Pearls' private conversation... “So, what were Christmases like at your house?” Pearl kept her gaze locked on the twinkling stars above. Owen shifted, stretched, and in one motion was lying close enough to graze her arm with his. Neither moved from their place on the blanket, but instead kept their focus on the velvety nighttime sky. “Some years good, some bad, I s’pose like anyone else.” “Do you really believe everyone has an occasional bad holiday? You gotta be joking.” “Things happen in life, Pearl. What if someone in the famil

Just Out of My Grasp - How Much is Too Much?

12/05/2013 Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, I’ve decided to use my blog not only to writing, music, and other facets of entertainment, but, also to share my journey. I found out on June 19, 2013 the reason for many of my ongoing health problems is because I have systemic lupus, also known as SLE. BRAKE HERE- I visited the University of Colorado, Denver November 13, 2013 for a second opinion. The incredible Dr. Susan Boackle University of Colorado Rheumatology agreed to see me as a new patient. She evaluated all my medical records to date and worked me into her schedule. She took a 2 hour comprehensive history with me, ordered urine tests, x-rays, and also blood tests. The phlebotomist drew 19 vials of blood for all the tests. I had juice and cookies before they let me stand up, they took almost as much blood as a donation for blood drive. I waited almost impatiently for the week to be up and my results. I wanted to know if the medication I was taking was appropriate for what was going

Many thinks to my Cali Bestie, Rhonda, for providing me with the deck of cards recipe book. J It’s now December, in the middle of my favorite time of the year. It reminds me of old school Coca-Cola Commercials…”I’d like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony…”, circling our Christmas wish list in the J.C. Penney catalog, and fires in the fireplace. Now, that’s the holidays I hold onto. WINTER SNAP! Tuesday Tales, It's Getting Crazy Wavy Up In Here

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week's Tuesday Tales prompt is the word "wavy". Please see how I use "wavy" in my new WIP YA paranormal romance, Finding Love in a Black Lagoon- Book 3 in the Critter Getter series .  Me and Sasquatch! From Central City, Colorado A violent shudder rustled the water and the weeds, splashing up from the surface. Fat droplets sprayed outward, hitting Caleb in the face. More determined than ever, Caleb plunged the stick further into the center. “Get out of there and show yourself!” He gritted his teeth and stood his ground. Suddenly, the water reeds parted and another heron flew out from the center, its wings flapped and it swished the tall, wavy weeds around. Caleb reflexively jumped and dropped the stick. Owen remained still, but, his head jerked slightly backward and cocked to one side. The girls shrieked almost in unison.  “It was a dang bird nest in there!” Kalista breathed a sigh of relief, and almost collap
