Tuesday Tales are Stark Today....guess who's talking

Happy Fall Tuesday Tales... Today, I return to my current WIP, a Game of Inches, for my Fantasy Leagues series. This week we write to the word prompt stark. I just can't tell you who's talking! It gives too much away. Book One of the Fantasy Leagues is now available. You can get a hint from there. First 25% free for download!

"She is a stark reminder of what my life could have been. Sharlyn can't die, she's barely had a chance to live.” She paused, her body stiffened and she looked down. "Maybe she might even want a chance to get to know me."

"I'm sorry Sharlyn is going through this. I never thought about wanting children. I've always been too busy. Sometimes I think an extension of me would be more of a curse than a blessing I'd put on a child."

"You'd be a wonderful mother, with your gifts, adventurous nature, and huge heart. I've witnessed it. Your dogged determination to make life better for the people around you. More kids need that from a parent."

"You know, you could have kids of your own. Sharlyn isn't the only one."

"I've got so many flaws and wrinkles in my life, I"m not sure I can ever iron them out to be suitable for raising a family. But, don't think the daydream doesn't visit me from time to time."

BEFORE YOU LEAVE ME FOR SOME OTHER AWESOMELY TALENTED WORKS, PLEASE CHECK OUT MY LATEST REVIEW! Here's just a snippet- "The main characters are realistic and draw the reader into their struggle to explore their feelings and build a relationship. With elements of love, friendship, erotic sex scenes, humor, romance, and a hint of suspense, this titillating tale fires up the senses to deliver an entertaining read."

loving it. I especially enjoyed the paragraph about the wrinkles in her life needing ironing out. Well done.
Ahhh, to reproduce or not to reproduce. An age old question these days. Interested to see how it's decided.
