Tuesday Tales - Is it Really a Bargain?

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week's Tuesday Tales prompt is the word "bargain". Please see how I use "bargain" in my new WIP erotic romance,  Sexy Bea Spelling . Our heroine, Bea, uses a week to lose her inhibitions, but, did she lose her heart as well? “Can someone else take it?” Bea’s voice sounded uneven, as if her vocal cords had been sanded. “There may be more than we bargain for with this one.” “Seriously? When have you ever backed away from a case? You two are the best we have and I have full confidence you will work this quickly, professionally, and quietly.” John began typing on his keyboard. “I’ll send you what files I have and the allegation information. This is high priority, so, if you have other cases, set them aside until you get a good start on this one.” “Will do, boss, we will go review the information now.” Craig began pulling a slumped Bea from the chair. “C’mon partner, let’s go form a game plan.” Craig pushed her slightly toward the o...

Just Out of My Grasp - My Personal Journey with SLE

Just Out of my Grasp Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, I’ve decided to use my blog not only to writing, music, and other facets of entertainment, but, also to share my journey. I found out on June 19, 2013 the reason for many of my ongoing health problems is because I have systemic lupus, also known as SLE. Ironically, a year or so ago, one of my best friends had a co-worker, Mel, who died as a result of complications from lupus. I kept thinking Mel was in her sixties, (still not “old” by any stretch), but, I in fact found out Mel died at age 44. Heavy heart. Mel suffered from so many health complications as she declined, she could barely handle a one hour lunch with her friends. Toward the end, it seemed to me that her death was a blessing of sorts. However, that was well before I found out I had lupus too. Stolen years. I have a life to live, I have plans. So, the question began, “Is this the best I’m gonna feel for the rest of my life?” Despair. Thank you for listening, ea...

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week's Tuesday Tales prompt is the word "court". Please see how I use "court" in my new WIP erotic romance,  Sexy Bea Spelling . Our heroine, Bea, uses a week to lose her inhibitions, but, did she lose her heart as well? Andrew jumped in the shower in time to soap Bea’s back and massage her shoulders. Bea took her turn to scrub his manly chest with a soapy pouf and stood on tiptoes to shampoo his hair. Andrew slathered conditioner all over her wet trusses and helped rinse her clean. Just before he attained a full erection, room service knocked at the door. “Their timing sucks.” Andrew kissed her full on the mouth. “Think of it as fuel for later, Andrew. We need it.” Bea’s stomach growled in Pavlovian response to the door. “I’m coming, hold on.” Andrew rushed on a pair of shorts, water dripping from his hair. Bea toweled off quickly, applied some hotel lotion, and hand combed her hair. Looking around the closet area, she gra...

Tuesday Tales Sexy in the Sun

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week's Tuesday Tales prompt is the word "sun". Please see how I use "sun" in my new WIP erotic romance, Sexy Bea Spelling . Our heroine, Bea, uses a week to lose her inhibitions, but, did she lose her heart as well? Take a peek at  Sexy Bea Spelling- “Just tell me one thing, Bea, did you allow your bed to get messy last week?” “Yes, Craig, I certainly did.” Bea looked dreamily away out the office window. A contented sigh escaped her slightly parted lips. “But, I’m not on vacay anymore, so, let’s get busy. My time to be lazy has passed.” In the bland office atmosphere, they continued reviewing complaints, scheduling surprise site visits, and wrapping up documentation on other cases. Bea typed furiously on her keyboard, looking up only to answer a handful of phone calls.
