J Summer in Texas is only beginning to be hot, so, I’m trying to enjoy the great outdoors as much as possible before the sun drives me inside under the A/C on a regular basis. Poolside today is another refreshing escape. You can also prepare a non-alcoholic version of this by substituting sparkling cider or ginger ale for the sparkling wine. SUMMER FRUIT PUNCH! Ingredients 2 Cups diced stone fruit, (apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines) 2 Cups apricot juice 2 Cups sparkling white wine 1 cup club soda peach slice for garnish Combine diced fruit, apricot juice, sparkling wine, and club soda.   Divide among 4 ice-filled glasses. Garnish with peach slice.   203 Calories

Tuesday Tales and a little Menage!

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week's Tuesday Tales prompt is a picture. I use this beautiful serene setting to kickoff my new WIP erotic romance, Sexy Bea Spelling . Our heroine, Bea, uses a week to lose her inhibitions, but, did she lose her heart as well? Take a peek at  Sexy Bea Spelling- “Never in a million years would I have thought a ménage a` trois would be on my bucket list.” Bea’s cheeks reddened and she twisted the scarf between her hands. “It’s nothing to be ashamed of. We all need something wild we can fantasize about into our old age.” Andrew smiled, gently grasping her hands in his, momentarily stopping her nervous fingers. “It seemed so delicious and sinful all at the same time. Since this resort encourages the release of inhibitions, I felt free.” “You are free, Bea, you are an adult woman over the age of twenty-one who has needs you’ve denied for far too long. Just because you are satiated doesn’t mean you’ll return to reality and start hitting hook-u...

Blue Ink - The Skin Stalker COVER REVEAL!

Hello Fellow Fathomers! I'm very excited to introduce to you the cover for my first paranormal/thriller release- Blue Ink The Skin Stalker. Joelle unknowingly unlocked a portal to a demon- The Skin Stalker- who wants to vanquish her humanity and create a new demon hybrid with her using her former lover, Colin. Although she tried to forget him, Colin continued to break her heart from a distance, making her vulnerable. The Skin Stalker began brutally murdering Colin's "girlfriends", setting him up as the prime suspect-but does Joelle really care if Colin rotted away in jail? Using a softball equipment bag and public dumping grounds, The Skin Stalker morbidly disposed of his victims, celebrating the notoriety, and his ability to stump the police.  A unique blue "tattoo" behind Joelle's ear carries the key to her connection to the paranormal realm.   Can an average woman actually conquer a demon? Set around the backdrop of the beautiful Rocky Mo...

Tuesday Tales and Twister Fate -

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This week's Tuesday Tales word prompt is "shoe".  Before I introduce my contribution using "shoe", I want to address the recent horrible weather events. Following the devastation from the recent tornadoes, my heart goes out to everyone affected and I loudly applaud all the rescue workers, volunteers, and everyone donating their time and money to put people's lives back together. My childhood friends lost their home, thankfully, they were not inside when this tornado hit their residence. These storms are no joke and must be taken seriously. Sadly, they lost one of their three dogs and practically everything they own. If you've donated time or money, thank you so very much on their behalf, and so many others in their same circumstance. Actual scene from Mustang, Oklahoma This week I return to another installment in a  brand new  sweet romantic read,  Twister Fate.      Twister Fate Organized chaos...

Tuesday Tales and a Twist on Fate

Image
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! I celebrate the first Tuesday Tales in June with a brand new WIP!  This week I take you to an installment in a  brand new  sweet romantic YA read,  Twister Fate.   This week the word prompt is "train": Prologue September, 1993 The smell of roasted corn, barbeque, and kettle corn filled the air.  A clear blue sky provided the perfect backdrop for the small county fair in rural Oklahoma.  The bustle of school children out for the day created a lively atmosphere.  Each class grade manned a booth at the fair to raise money for their senior class trip. A dunk tank sat in a corner area, where the elementary principal awaited on the precarious perch for someone with impeccable aim. Ring toss, darts, and even a kissing booth boasted lines of kids and adults alike. Scarlett Johnson and Ricky Roberts walked hand in hand checking out the winning exhibits of farm animals. He was quiet, definitely unusual for s...
